Short Description:
A research organization is recruiting 14 Quantitative Data Collectors to support field activities for a malaria intervention study in Osun State. The study will pilot two behaviorally-informed strategies aimed at increasing the use of insecticide-treated nets (ITNs). The role involves collecting high-quality quantitative data to evaluate the feasibility, acceptability, and cost of these interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct household interviews using SurveyCTO and upload data daily.
- Obtain written consent and ensure confidentiality of respondents.
- Attend training sessions prior to data collection.
- Meet daily data collection targets and report field issues to supervisors.
Requirements:
- Minimum OND, HND, or B.Sc. in a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of experience in survey-based data collection.
- Fluency in Yoruba and strong written English skills.
- Familiarity with electronic data collection tools (especially SurveyCTO).
- Ability to use a personal smartphone for data collection.
Additional Assets:
- Previous experience with Malaria Consortium projects or SMC campaigns.
- Familiarity with Osun’s local culture and terrain.
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
