A reputable medical facility in Lagos is seeking an experienced Hospital Pharmacist to join their team. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe and effective use of medications and provide support in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Review and monitor patients’ medication therapies to prevent adverse drug reactions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient treatment outcomes.
- Provide drug information and counsel patients on proper medication use.
- Maintain proper inventory of pharmaceutical supplies and ensure timely restocking.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a B.Sc. in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
- 3-5 years of proven experience working as a hospital pharmacist.
- Possession of a valid Federal Pharmacy Practice License.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage patients.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and IHMS will be an added advantage.
