Job Description

A reputable healthcare provider is currently hiring a Telemedicine Healthcare Assistant to support virtual care services. This role is ideal for candidates with clinical support experience and a strong understanding of digital healthcare environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring seamless virtual consultations, accurate patient documentation, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support virtual consultations by verifying patient details and preparing records.
  • Document symptoms, histories, and other medical data into EHR platforms.
  • Assist providers during live virtual sessions with technical and documentation tasks.
  • Manage appointment coordination, follow-ups, and patient communications.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Certificate or Associate Degree in Medical Assisting, Nursing, or a related healthcare field.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is preferred.
  • Experience with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Athenahealth) and telehealth platforms (e.g., Zoom for Healthcare, Doxy.me).
  • Understanding of HIPAA compliance and virtual care protocols.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
