Sidmach Technologies Nigeria Limited is seeking a strategic and results-driven professional for the position of Head of Business Development. The ideal candidate will lead efforts to identify new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and drive market expansion in the ICT sector. This role is critical to achieving the company’s growth and revenue objectives by shaping business strategies that align with current market realities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of business growth strategies, including upselling, market expansion, and strategic partnerships.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets aligned with long-term organizational goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, marketing, and product development to ensure strategic alignment and effective implementation.
  • Negotiate contracts and close high-value deals to drive profitability.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree; an MBA is an added advantage.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in a strategic leadership role within business development, marketing, or sales in the ICT industry.
  • Proven experience working with enterprise and/or government organizations.
  • Strong understanding of ICT products/solutions, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and relationship management skills.
