Job Description
A newly established multi-specialist private hospital in Lagos is seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiographer to join its medical team. The role involves operating advanced medical imaging equipment to deliver high-quality diagnostic images that support accurate diagnosis and effective treatment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, ultrasound, and other specialized imaging.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring comfort and compliance with safety regulations.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment in line with established protocols and radiation safety standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Radiography or Medical Imaging from a recognized institution.
- Valid practicing license from the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).
- Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in a hospital environment.
- Proficiency with PACS, RIS, and other imaging management systems.
Work Conditions
- Hospital-based role with exposure to radiation and infectious materials.
- May require shift duties, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
