Job Description
Interswitch Group is seeking a skilled Product Designer to join its team in Lagos. The role involves conducting user research, creating prototypes, and designing seamless product experiences using user-centered design principles. The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping product functionality and ensuring a positive user experience while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to identify user needs and pain points.
- Create sitemaps, user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to bring product ideas to life.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and business strategists to integrate UX design throughout the development cycle.
- Develop and implement design strategies that align with business goals and deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Stay updated on design trends and emerging technologies, contributing innovative ideas to enhance product experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in User Experience (UX) Design.
- At least 2 years’ hands-on experience with Design Thinking practices.
- Strong ability to translate research insights into practical and innovative design solutions.
- Proven track record of developing product experiences that achieve problem-solution fit.
