Rosabon Financial Services (RFS) Limited is seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented professional to fill the role of Lead, Financial Controls. The position is responsible for ensuring financial stability, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting the company’s strategic growth through effective reporting, budgeting, and internal control management. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership skills with a deep understanding of financial processes, IFRS, and organizational performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and submission of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement robust internal control systems to maintain financial integrity and compliance with CBN guidelines.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, providing actionable insights to support business decisions.
• Manage cash flow in collaboration with treasury teams to ensure adequate liquidity and operational efficiency.
• Drive process improvement initiatives and adoption of digital financial tools for enhanced accuracy and performance.
• Mentor and lead the financial control team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• ACA or ACCA certification is mandatory.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in financial management, including at least 4 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, ERP systems, and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and decision-making abilities.
