Job Description

Rosabon Financial Services (RFS) Limited is seeking an experienced Chief Compliance Manager to oversee and strengthen the company’s compliance framework. This role involves ensuring strict adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies while promoting transparency, accountability, and ethical standards. The ideal candidate will provide strategic direction on compliance issues, support sustainable growth, and safeguard the company’s reputation through proactive risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive compliance framework, policies, and procedures.
• Advise senior management and the Board on compliance risks, obligations, and emerging regulatory trends.
• Monitor adherence to CBN, NDIC, SEC, EFCC, and data protection regulations (NDPR, GDPR).
• Conduct regular compliance audits, internal investigations, and regulatory reporting.
• Identify and mitigate compliance risks across business units in collaboration with audit and risk teams.
• Lead compliance training programs to build awareness and reinforce a culture of integrity and accountability.
• Oversee Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT), and fraud prevention activities.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• Professional certification in compliance or risk management such as CCO, CAMS, CFE, CRCP, ICAN, or ACCA.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, AML/CFT laws, and data protection standards.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven integrity, attention to detail, and sound judgment under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and compliance management tools.
