Job Description

An established FMCG company is seeking a results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead sales operations, drive revenue growth, and expand market presence across the Kano region. This role requires strong commercial acumen, hands-on leadership, and proven experience managing sales teams and distributors within the FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and volume targets
  • Manage, motivate, and supervise sales teams and distributors across the assigned region
  • Drive market penetration and strengthen relationships with distributors and key retailers
  • Track sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to inform decision-making
  • Ensure optimal product distribution, availability, and visibility across all sales channels
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates
  • Work closely with marketing and supply chain teams to support regional sales initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience, with strong FMCG industry exposure
  • Proven experience managing regional sales operations and leading sales teams
  • Strong negotiation, leadership, and analytical skills
  • Good understanding of the Kano and Northern Nigeria market is an added advantage
  • Availability to resume work immediately

Salary: ₦400,000 monthly and above (commensurate with experience)
