Job Description

An established smart card manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer to lead and optimize its end-to-end operations. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, overseeing manufacturing performance, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting sustainable business growth within a highly technical production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute end-to-end operational and business strategies for smart card manufacturing.
• Oversee manufacturing processes, quality assurance systems, and ISO compliance standards.
• Manage operational budgets, resources, and systems to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Supervise the full production lifecycle, from design and planning to final output.
• Implement and monitor health, safety, and risk management frameworks across operations.
• Collaborate with finance, sales, and marketing teams to align operations with growth objectives.
• Oversee HR structures, facilities management, and corporate support services.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and relevant regulatory bodies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience within the manufacturing industry.
• Proven leadership experience with a strong track record of building and managing operational systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, production management, and operational efficiency.
• Experience in smart printing, card production, or related manufacturing sectors is a strong advantage.
