Job Description

An opportunity is available for an experienced Upwork Account Manager to manage and grow client accounts on the Upwork platform. This role focuses on identifying quality job opportunities, writing tailored proposals, managing daily account activity, and supporting clients in securing remote projects using established internal systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned Upwork accounts and maintain consistent daily activity
  • Research and identify high-quality and relevant job opportunities on Upwork
  • Write, customize, and submit proposals aligned with each client’s goals
  • Track account performance, including Connects usage and job applications
  • Provide daily activity reports and weekly progress updates
  • Communicate professionally with stakeholders and follow internal workflows
  • Ensure compliance with platform guidelines and internal processes

Requirements

  • Prior experience using the Upwork platform, either personally or as an account manager
  • Ownership of a functional laptop and access to reliable internet
  • Strong proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Excellent proposal writing and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts
  • Good computer literacy and ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice to Have

  • Background in client communication or customer service
  • Familiarity with remote work tools such as Google Workspace and Slack

Compensation & Work Details

  • Fully remote role (Nigeria-based preferred)
  • Part-time schedule: 4 hours daily, Monday to Friday
  • Training and ongoing support provided
  • Data allowance plus 20% commission on successfully secured jobs

Employment Type: Part-time (4 hours daily, Monday–Friday)
