Job Description
A reputable real estate development company in Lagos is seeking an experienced Project Planner (PMO) to support the successful delivery of large-scale construction projects. This role is suited for a results-driven professional with strong scheduling expertise, hands-on experience in multi-project environments, and proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project. The ideal candidate will play a key role in planning, monitoring, and optimizing project timelines to ensure efficiency and on-time delivery.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules for multiple construction projects
- Establish baseline programs and track progress against approved timelines
- Conduct schedule impact analysis and recommend corrective actions where required
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize delays
- Coordinate effectively with project managers, consultants, contractors, and site teams
- Prepare and present executive-level progress reports and performance updates
- Ensure alignment of project schedules with overall business objectives
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
- 7–10 years of proven experience in construction planning or project scheduling
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project lifecycle management
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
- Demonstrated experience managing schedules across multiple large-scale projects
- Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is an added advantage
