Job Description

Bayse Markets is hiring a Growth Marketer to build and scale a high-performance growth engine for a fast-growing prediction market exchange in Africa. This role is designed for a data-driven and highly creative professional who can combine analytical rigor with bold execution to drive measurable business outcomes across acquisition, activation, retention, and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and execute a comprehensive growth roadmap covering acquisition, activation, retention, reactivation, and revenue growth.
  • Plan, launch, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across channels such as Meta, X, TikTok, Google, and other relevant platforms, managing creatives, targeting, attribution, CAC, and ROAS.
  • Develop unconventional, high-impact growth campaigns that generate attention, drive conversation, and create momentum within target communities.
  • Lead social media growth strategy, including content systems, posting cadence, narrative development, creator collaborations, and performance tracking.
  • Optimize funnels and conversion flows by working closely with product and design teams to improve onboarding, reduce drop-offs, and increase trade conversion and repeat usage.
  • Design and implement lifecycle marketing journeys across email, push notifications, SMS, and in-app messaging to strengthen retention and habit formation.
  • Run structured experiments across ads, landing pages, onboarding flows, referrals, partnerships, and lifecycle campaigns, scaling what works based on performance data.
  • Build dashboards and reporting systems, conduct cohort and attribution analysis, and translate insights into fast, data-backed decisions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or product-led growth roles with proven measurable results.
  • Strong analytical expertise in funnels, cohort analysis, attribution modeling, CAC, ROAS, and performance metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate innovative campaign ideas and execute creative strategies that drive attention and conversion.
  • Proven experience managing and scaling paid campaigns, including creative strategy, targeting, optimization, and reporting.
  • Experience building lifecycle marketing and retention frameworks using segmentation, triggers, behavioral messaging, and experimentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced startup environment with strong ownership and execution discipline.
  • Knowledge of prediction markets, trading, fintech, or financial product marketing is an added advantage.
  • Experience with creators, community-led growth, referral systems, or compounding growth programs is a plus.
