A leading luxury retail organization in Lagos is hiring a Learning & Development Specialist to drive capability development within its Academy. This role focuses on designing and delivering structured training programs in watches, fine jewellery, and luxury client experience. The position plays a key role in strengthening product knowledge, elevating service standards, and supporting sales excellence across boutiques.
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: N700,000 – N1,200,000 monthly

Job Responsibilities
- Design and deliver structured training programs on watches and fine jewellery
- Develop and implement client experience training to elevate boutique service standards
- Create comprehensive training materials, product manuals, and assessment tools
- Facilitate onboarding sessions for new sales team members
- Collaborate with category heads and sales leaders to identify skills gaps
- Measure training effectiveness through assessments and performance metrics
- Manage training calendars and ensure consistent program delivery across branches
- Support continuous professional development initiatives within the Academy
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
- 5–8 years’ experience in learning and development, retail training, or luxury sales training
- Strong knowledge of watches and/or fine jewellery is highly desirable
- Experience delivering client experience or customer service training
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Demonstrated passion for coaching and developing high-performing teams
