Job Description
A growing retail organization is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory & E-Commerce Officer to manage stock control across physical stores, warehouse operations, and digital sales platforms. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring stock availability, and supporting seamless inventory synchronization between internal systems and online marketplaces. This position requires strong operational discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to manage inventory across multiple sales channels including e-commerce platforms.
Location: Lagos
Salary: N250,000 – N350,000 per month

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records across stores and the central warehouse.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile inventory records with system data.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
- Ensure all stock movements such as transfers, returns, damages, and adjustments are properly recorded and documented.
- Manage product inventory levels on the Shopify platform to ensure accurate online stock availability.
- Upload and update SKUs, product quantities, and availability status on the e-commerce platform.
- Support inventory setup and stock management for marketplace platforms including Jumia and Konga.
- Coordinate stock replenishment between stores and warehouse to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Monitor slow-moving or at-risk inventory and recommend transfers, promotions, or write-offs when necessary.
- Prepare regular inventory reports including stock levels, movements, and adjustments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in inventory management, stock control, or retail operations.
- Strong understanding of inventory control processes and reconciliation practices.
- Experience working in a multi-store retail environment is an advantage.
- Practical experience managing inventory on e-commerce platforms, particularly Shopify, is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with marketplace inventory systems such as Jumia or Konga is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to maintain accurate documentation.
