Job Description

Proforce Industries Limited is hiring a Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and power generation systems. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in diesel generators, industrial electrical systems, and preventive maintenance while leading a maintenance team to ensure equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and minimal downtime.

Salary: ₦350,000 – ₦450,000 monthly

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Lead and supervise the maintenance team to ensure efficient daily operations and timely completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel generators, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment.
  • Develop and implement Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules and ensure compliance.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and improve equipment performance.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Monitor generator performance, fuel consumption, and maintenance trends to optimize operational costs.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and maintenance standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant post-graduation experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, mechanical equipment, and diesel generator maintenance.
  • Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance practices and maintenance management systems (CMMS is an advantage).
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings and troubleshoot complex technical faults.
