Job Description
A company operating within the oil and gas retail sector is seeking a results-driven Marketing Executive to drive diesel product sales and expand its customer base. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and implementing strategies that increase market penetration within industries that rely heavily on diesel supply.
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: NGN 200,000 – 400,000 Monthly
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new clients for diesel supply including businesses, construction firms, logistics companies, and industrial users
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat sales and long-term partnerships
- Develop and execute marketing strategies aimed at increasing diesel product sales and market share
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and customer demand within the oil and gas retail sector
- Prepare sales reports and provide market insights to support business growth and strategic decision-making
- Represent the company during client meetings, negotiations, and business development activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Marketing degree strongly preferred)
- 1 – 3 years of marketing or sales experience within oil & gas, fuel distribution, or a related sector
- Strong network within industries that consume diesel such as construction, logistics, and manufacturing
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and client relationship management skills
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Strong understanding of market research, sales strategies, and customer acquisition
