Job Description

A Telecommunication Company is seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect (Voice) to lead the design, architecture, and deployment of enterprise voice and unified communications solutions. This role focuses on delivering secure, scalable, and high-performance voice services across VoIP, SIP, PBX, contact center, and unified communication platforms while supporting business and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end Voice and Unified Communications (UC) solutions including VoIP, SIP Trunking, IP/Cloud PBX, and Contact Center platforms.
  • Develop integrated Unified Communications solutions combining voice, video, and messaging services.
  • Translate customer business requirements into technical and commercial solution architectures.
  • Conduct voice infrastructure assessments, capacity planning, and system optimization.
  • Lead solution deployment and provide technical guidance to engineering and project teams.
  • Collaborate with vendors and integrate third-party voice and communication platforms.
  • Develop and maintain solution documentation including High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), and configuration guides.
  • Ensure compliance with quality of service (QoS), service level agreements (SLA), and security standards.
  • Provide technical support during pre-sales engagements, RFP responses, and proof-of-concept demonstrations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 7–10 years of experience in VoIP, Unified Communications, and enterprise telephony solutions.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SIP, RTP, Session Border Controllers (SBCs), IP PBX systems, and Contact Center technologies.
  • Experience working with UC platforms such as Cisco, Avaya, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, 3CX, or Asterisk.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP Voice/Collaboration, Avaya certifications, or Microsoft Teams Voice certification are an added advantage.
  • Excellent technical documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
