Internal Auditor
Job Description
An experienced Internal Auditor is required to independently assess operations across outlets, production, and the central store. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with internal processes, identifying operational gaps, and strengthening internal controls to improve efficiency and accountability.
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: N300,000 / month
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine and unannounced audits across outlets, production units, and the central store
- Review sales records, inventory levels, stock usage, and operational activities for accuracy
- Monitor stock movement and perform reconciliations across all locations
- Identify discrepancies, wastage, and operational irregularities
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with company policies
- Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, risks, and gaps
- Recommend corrective actions and follow up on implementation
Requirements
- Minimum of B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, CIA, or equivalent is an advantage
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in auditing, preferably within QSR, FMCG, or retail sectors
- Strong understanding of internal controls, inventory management, and audit processes
- Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to conduct field audits across multiple locations
- High level of integrity and accountability
