Job Description
An opportunity is available for an Audit Associate at Talentforge Solutions Limited to support external audit engagements, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and contribute to accurate financial reporting. The role involves hands-on audit execution, client engagement, and preparation of detailed audit documentation.
Location: Onipan, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: ₦200,000 – ₦250,000 monthly
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in external audit engagements from planning through to completion
- Review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards
- Perform audit testing and document findings in line with audit requirements
- Identify risks, control weaknesses, and provide practical recommendations for improvement
- Prepare and maintain audit working papers and support audit reporting processes
- Liaise with clients to obtain required documents and clarify audit-related issues
- Ensure strict adherence to audit timelines and deadlines
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in external audit
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and auditing standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant accounting tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
