Job Description
The Regional Manager will play a strategic leadership role in overseeing programme operations across the South West region. This position is responsible for driving operational efficiency, ensuring quality service delivery, and supporting the implementation of organizational strategies across multiple channels, including outreach, social franchise, and public sector partnerships. The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and operational planning skills to achieve sustainable growth and impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee field operations and ensure timely execution of regional plans and objectives
- Coordinate with programme managers and support teams to strengthen service delivery channels
- Monitor budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation across the region
- Support the development and implementation of annual and quarterly work plans
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with stakeholders, donors, and government institutions
- Ensure effective supply chain and logistics management to meet service demands
- Lead, mentor, and build capacity of regional teams for improved performance and productivity
- Track programme performance and make data-driven decisions for operational improvements
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, policies, and quality benchmarks
- Represent the organization in meetings, stakeholder engagements, and public forums when required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Public Health, Social Development, Management, or related field
- Minimum of six (6) years post-NYSC experience, preferably within an INGO
- Experience working on donor-funded projects (e.g., USAID, DFID, BMGF) is an added advantage
- Strong project management and operational planning experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Strong leadership, people management, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
