Job Description

Ekris Bio Health Foods Nigeria Limited is seeking a results-driven Head of Retail Sales to lead nationwide retail operations and drive growth across modern trade channels. The ideal candidate will develop and execute sales strategies, expand distribution, and enhance in-store performance for supermarkets, pharmacies, hotels, and other retail outlets. This role offers the opportunity to lead a high-performing sales team while ensuring optimal product visibility and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a national retail sales strategy to achieve business objectives.
• Drive expansion of product distribution across supermarkets, pharmacies, and modern trade outlets.
• Manage key retail accounts and partnerships, securing prime shelf space and favorable trade terms.
• Lead, train, and motivate a nationwide team of Territory Sales Developers to achieve sales targets.
• Collaborate with marketing to execute in-store promotions, activations, and merchandising initiatives.
• Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock-outs and ensure timely replenishment.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and sales data to optimize strategies and identify growth opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years FMCG sales experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong understanding of the Nigerian retail landscape, including supermarkets, pharmacies, and modern trade.
• Proven track record in driving sales growth, distribution expansion, and team performance.
• Experience in premium or health-focused food products is an advantage.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
