Job Description
PC Place Nigeria Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial operations, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and provide accurate financial reporting. This role is ideal for professionals with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles who can contribute to effective financial management and decision-making.
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: N200,000 – N300,000 per month
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Handle payroll processing and statutory deductions such as PAYE, VAT, and pensions
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax laws
- Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions
- Maintain proper documentation of all financial transactions
- Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities
- Monitor expenses and implement cost control measures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Professional certification such as ICAN or ACCA is an added advantage
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and tax laws
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
- Good communication and organizational skills
