A reputable organization in the renewable energy sector is seeking experienced professionals for the role of Solar Sales Manager. This position focuses on driving business growth, managing client relationships, and delivering tailored solar energy solutions to commercial and industrial clients. The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience in B2B sales within the energy or engineering space.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and target new commercial and industrial clients through market research, networking, and referrals
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, serving as the primary point of contact for communications and negotiations
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with business goals
  • Meet or exceed sales targets across solar EPC, PPA, or asset sales offerings
  • Lead the preparation of techno-commercial proposals, RFQs, and RFP responses
  • Collaborate with engineering and finance teams to deliver customized client solutions
  • Support project handover and ensure smooth coordination with execution teams
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments in the solar industry

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Energy), Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in B2B sales, preferably within renewable energy or industrial engineering sectors
  • At least 2–3 years in a sales leadership or key account management role in solar EPC, PPA, or energy services
  • Proven ability to sell solar PV systems or energy solutions to large commercial and industrial clients
  • Strong track record of closing high-value contracts under CAPEX or OPEX models
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles, including stakeholder engagement and contract negotiation
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams such as engineering, finance, legal, and project execution
  • Familiarity with C&I energy consumption patterns, renewable energy regulations, and CRM tools
