Job Description

A Business Development Manager – Cloud & Cybersecurity role focused on driving market expansion, revenue growth, and strategic partnerships across cloud and cybersecurity solutions. The role involves identifying new opportunities, shaping go-to-market strategies, enabling sales teams, and strengthening partner ecosystems across multiple regions and industry verticals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, customer segments, and industry verticals for cloud and cybersecurity growth
  • Develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies in collaboration with product, sales, and marketing teams
  • Drive pipeline growth and support conversion of opportunities into revenue-generating deals
  • Lead partner ecosystem development, including vendors, MSPs, and channel partners
  • Support sales enablement through training, messaging, tools, and strategic insights
  • Contribute to enterprise bids, RFPs, and complex solution proposals
  • Monitor market trends and conduct competitive analysis to inform strategy
  • Ensure alignment across cross-functional teams including delivery, pre-sales, and finance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field
  • 3–5 years experience in ICT, cloud, or cybersecurity business development
  • 2–3 years experience in strategic planning and go-to-market execution
  • Experience within telecom, ISP, or enterprise IT environments
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (Zero Trust, SIEM, endpoint security, compliance standards)
  • Experience working with partner/channel ecosystems
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and reporting platforms such as Power BI is an advantage
  • Relevant cloud or cybersecurity certifications are an added advantage
