Job Description

An innovative Android Engineer role focused on building high-quality native mobile applications that enhance mobility and digital health solutions. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to define and implement product features that support home health solutions
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy advanced Android application features within an agile development environment
  • Improve application performance by identifying bottlenecks and implementing efficient code enhancements and optimizations
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices in software design, architecture, and development standards
  • Build and maintain reusable libraries, components, and documentation to support long-term engineering efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience as an Android Engineer building complex native Android applications using MVP or MVVM architecture
  • 3+ years of experience publishing applications to the Google Play Store
  • Strong proficiency in Android SDK, Kotlin, Java, Android Studio, and object-oriented programming principles
  • Solid experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating backend services
  • Understanding of Android Material Design guidelines and modern UI/UX principles
  • Experience with software development lifecycle practices including version control, testing, code reviews, and deployment processes
  • Ability to translate product requirements into technical solutions and user-friendly mobile features
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Experience with tools and libraries such as Retrofit, Realm, and Firebase is an added advantage
