Job Description
Clinton Oilfield Limited is recruiting a Senior Piping Engineer to support engineering operations within its oil and gas projects in Port Harcourt. This role is suited for an experienced professional with strong technical expertise in piping design, analysis, and compliance, as well as the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe and efficient project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop piping systems and layouts in line with project specifications
- Perform detailed engineering calculations and pipe stress analysis
- Review and analyze piping designs to ensure safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
- Collaborate with project teams and other engineering disciplines to achieve project goals
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and company requirements
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior engineers and team members
- Evaluate materials, specifications, and installation processes for piping systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
- Proven experience in the oil and gas industry is highly preferred
- Strong proficiency in piping design and piping system analysis
- Demonstrated expertise in pipe stress analysis and engineering calculations
- Solid understanding of industry codes and standards related to piping systems
- Experience working with different piping materials and specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage projects and provide technical leadership
