AlphaBeta Consulting LLP is hiring an experienced Unit Head, Programme Management Office (PgMO) to lead and oversee enterprise-wide programmes and projects across technology and non-technology functions. The role requires a strategic professional with strong programme governance expertise, leadership capability, and a proven track record of successfully managing complex multi-project environments.

Salary: N1,000,000 – N1,200,000 monthly

Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the Programme Management Office (PgMO)
- Develop and maintain programme and project governance frameworks, standards, methodologies, and controls
- Oversee the successful delivery of multiple projects and programmes from initiation to operational transition
- Coordinate cross-functional project execution across technology and non-technology business units, including sister companies
- Monitor project performance across scope, timeline, cost, quality, risk, and stakeholder satisfaction metrics
- Prepare executive reports, dashboards, and performance insights to support decision-making
- Lead, mentor, and manage PgMO staff, including project managers, officers, and administrators
- Drive continuous improvement and benefits realization initiatives across the project portfolio
- Support the automation of programme and project delivery processes using suitable software tools
- Ensure compliance with governance, regulatory, and data protection requirements including GDPR and NDPA 2023
Requirements
- Minimum of HND or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic & Information Engineering, or a related field
- 12–14 years of experience in ICT, programme management, project management, or related disciplines
- Strong portfolio, programme, and project management experience
- Proven ability to successfully manage complex, multi-stream programmes
- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
- High emotional intelligence with strong people-management capability
- Knowledge of governance, compliance, risk management, and data protection regulations
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, Agile-PM, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) will be an added advantage
