Job Description
Adventure Capital Group is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Analyst to join its team in Lagos. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating loan applications, managing credit processes, monitoring repayments, and ensuring effective credit risk control. This role is suitable for candidates with strong financial analysis skills and experience in credit administration.
Location: Maryland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: N250,000 – N300,000 monthly
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate loan requests from customers
- Assess the creditworthiness and financial capability of applicants
- Manage loan dashboards and monitor credit processes
- Maintain and oversee the company’s credit portfolio
- Follow up on loan repayments and recover outstanding debts
- Liaise with insurance companies and credit bureaus on credit-related matters
- Report booked loans to credit bureaus
- Receive, document, and maintain loan securities and collateral records
- Approve or decline loan requests based on established eligibility criteria
- Disburse approved loan transactions to customers
- Report credit-related issues to the technical team when necessary
- Prepare and present weekly credit activity reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Previous experience in credit analysis, loan administration, or a similar financial role
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Good understanding of credit risk management and loan recovery processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
