Job Description
DAG Industries Nigeria Limited is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to manage accounts payable and receivable functions while ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to maintain efficient financial operations.

Work Days: Monday – Saturday (8:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
Job Responsibilities
- Process, verify, and record supplier invoices while ensuring proper authorization and accuracy.
- Prepare payment schedules and facilitate timely settlement of vendor obligations.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies promptly.
- Generate customer invoices and ensure timely billing of clients.
- Monitor outstanding customer balances and follow up on overdue payments.
- Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate records of receipts and transactions.
- Perform bank reconciliations and support cash flow monitoring activities.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
- Prepare financial reports, aging schedules, and other accounting reports for management.
- Support internal and external audits by providing relevant financial documentation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or ACA will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3–7 years of relevant experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, Sage, QuickBooks, Tally, or other ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
