Sageto Limited is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Head of Account to oversee its accounting operations and financial management. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and providing strategic financial oversight to support business growth. This opportunity is ideal for a finance professional with proven leadership experience and a solid understanding of accounting principles, particularly within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the company’s accounting operations, financial records, and reporting processes.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Oversee budgeting, cash flow management, and financial forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and audit processes.
• Monitor project costs, financial performance, and profitability.
• Develop and strengthen internal financial controls and accounting procedures.
• Lead, supervise, and mentor the accounts team to achieve departmental objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting certification such as ICAN, ACA, ACCA, or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience serving as a Head of Account or in a similar senior accounting role.
• Previous experience in the construction industry is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, financial management, and leadership skills.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
