Job Description

Ploutos Asset Management is recruiting a highly experienced Chief Operating Officer to provide strategic operational leadership and ensure efficient management of the firm’s investment operations. The successful candidate will oversee portfolio management activities, strengthen compliance and governance frameworks, and drive operational excellence in line with the company’s growth objectives.

This role is ideal for an experienced SEC-sponsored individual with a strong background in asset management, investment operations, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership across investment operations and core business functions.
  • Oversee portfolio management activities across multiple asset classes to ensure operational efficiency and strong performance.
  • Ensure full compliance with SEC regulations and other applicable capital market requirements.
  • Develop and maintain effective internal controls, governance structures, and risk management frameworks.
  • Lead trade processing, settlements, reconciliations, and fund administration activities.
  • Supervise operations, compliance, finance, and client service teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Improve operational processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Support executive management with strategic planning, budgeting, and business expansion initiatives.
  • Ensure timely regulatory reporting, filings, and stakeholder communications.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with regulators, custodians, auditors, and other industry stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement technology-driven improvements to enhance operational performance.
Job Requirements
  • Must be a SEC-licensed Sponsored Individual.
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in asset management, banking, or investment operations.
  • Strong leadership experience with a proven ability to manage operations and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience managing multi-asset investment portfolios will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge of investment operations, risk management, and corporate governance.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
