Job Description

A full-time opportunity is available for a qualified Accountant to join a reputable organization located along Auchi Road, Ugbe Akoko, Ondo State. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, managing daily accounting operations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations. This role is ideal for professionals with strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: ₦200,000 Monthly

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and accounting documentation.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for management.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly.
  • Monitor cash flow and prepare cash management reports.
  • Process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, statutory deductions, and other regulatory obligations.
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and financial regulations.
  • Conduct financial reviews and support internal control procedures.
  • Assist with inventory accounting and stock reconciliation.
  • Prepare audit schedules and support both internal and external audit processes.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
  • Identify financial discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.

Job Requirements
  • Minimum of an HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar accounting position.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of accuracy with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
Added Advantage
  • Previous auditing experience.
  • ICAN certification or ICAN in view.
  • Experience in the manufacturing, beverage, liquor, or FMCG industry.
Work Schedule
  • Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Salary: ₦200,000 per month
