Job Description

A reputable company in the Freight & Logistics industry is seeking an experienced Team Lead – Marketing to drive B2B sales, business development, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, a proven ability to acquire corporate clients, and experience leading high-performing sales teams. This role requires a proactive professional who can identify new business opportunities, close high-value deals, and mentor Business Development Executives to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the business development team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Identify, prospect, and convert new corporate clients through effective B2B sales strategies.
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing initiatives that drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Conduct field visits, client meetings, negotiations, and contract discussions to secure new business.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and prospective corporate clients.
  • Reactivate dormant customer accounts and strengthen business partnerships.
  • Monitor team performance and provide coaching to improve productivity and sales effectiveness.
  • Prepare sales reports, analyze market trends, and recommend growth strategies to management.

Requirements
  • HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales, marketing, or business development, preferably within the Freight & Logistics industry.
  • Proven ability to generate leads, negotiate contracts, and close high-value business deals.
  • Experience leading and managing a sales or marketing team with measurable results.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and customer relationship management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with CRM software is an added advantage.
  • MBA or M.Sc. qualification and an established corporate network will be an added advantage.
