Salary: $130,000 – $190,000 ANNUALLY

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to MetaMask’s social expansion and multi-chain user experiences.
• Unify, enhance and transform our experiences across MetaMask Portfolio, Browser Extension, and Mobile platforms to support social experiences.
• Coordinate and communicate with other experience teams to complete complex projects.
• Mentor more junior team members and broadly elevate the level of engineers around you.

Requirements:

• 6+ years working with web and mobile-based technologies.
• Hands-on experience with React and React Native.
• Extensive experience with modern Javascript (ES6/TypeScript/etc.).
• Experience with blockchain fundamentals across multiple blockchain architectures.
• Strong working knowledge developing cross platform/browser compatibility.
• Experience working in an agile development team.
• Experience developing medium to large-scale applications across the entire stack with minimal tech debt through sensible abstractions, testing, linting, and adherence to coding/web standards.
• Experience consuming APIs.
• A demonstrable understanding of Continuous Integration.
• Strong understanding of web-based security threats and prevention techniques.

Bonus Points:

• Working knowledge of multiple blockchain protocols (EVM and non-EVM).
• Experience with cross-chain bridges, transaction lifecycle and/or interoperability solutions.
• Demonstrated passion for and knowledge of blockchain technologies.
• Experience working in a decentralized, distributed team.
• Previous experience working in Web3.
• Product knowledge about the Web3 wallet space.
• Mobile experience (React Native, Objective C, Swift).
