Job Description
A top firm is looking for a Data Center Administrator with good troubleshooting, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- OND (minimum Lower Credit) in Electrical/Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics Electronics or related field
- Previous experience in an IT-related role
- Basic understanding of network infrastructure, servers, security and data centre operations
- Strong troubleshooting, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Maintain network, security, server and data centre infrastructure
- Ensure reliable POS, bank, internet, WAN and DR site connectivity
- Maintain IT equipment and monitor system events
- Deploy security patches, firmware and antivirus updates
- Ensure compliance with PCI DSS requirements
- Identify infrastructure risks and support remediation
