Senior Electrical Engineer
Job Description
A Power Generation is looking to hire a Senior Electrical Engineer.
Salary: Negotiable
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise electrical installation for diesel and gas generator power houses
- Supervise MV/LV systems, switchgear, transformers, DBs, ATS/AMF and synchronisation panels
- Lead testing and commissioning
- Conduct electrical tests and site inspections
- Troubleshoot electrical and control-system problems
- Coordinate with project teams and prepare technical reports
- Ensure projects meet quality, schedule and technical requirements
- Attend emergency breakdowns and urgent technical assignments
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related discipline
- 4–6 years’ relevant experience
- Experience in diesel/gas generator, power-house, MV/LV electrical installation, generator synchronisation, earthing and lightning protection
