Job Description
A leading rig services company in Nigeria is looking for an experienced Chief Electrician to keep our rig electrical systems safe, reliable, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair rig power, motors, panels, and control systems
- Service generators, SCR systems, switchgear, and transformers
- Troubleshoot faults fast to minimize downtime
- Support rig-up, rig-down, and rig moves
Key Requirements
- Diploma or technical certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years in a similar role, preferably on an oil and gas rig
- Knowledge of AC/DC, PLCs, VFDs; able to read schematics
- Current BOSIET and offshore medical
