Job Description
A multimedia company specializing in high-quality film, animation, documentaries, and interactive games focused on social justice, accountability, and African storytelling is seeking a dedicated and results-oriented Finance Manager to ensure the organization positive financial standing, safeguard financial assets and prevents financial irregularities.
Location: Abuja
Salary: ₦410,000 – ₦650,000 Gross
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategies, plans and ensuring implementatio
- Advise management team on financial opportunities, risks and investments
- Develop and improve policies, procedures, internal controls and cash management systems
- Ensure the compliance to policies, procedures and internal controls including financial governance
- Ensure the development and review of financial plans, operational budgets, models and forecasts, in line with company goals and plans.
- Analyse financial plans and budgets performance and give recommendations
- Ensure positive financial position and tax status
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision making
- Oversee the development Project budgets
- Ensure timely and effective financial reporting including reports, statements, presentations, recommendations.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in accounting, finance or related roles.
- Knowledge of Accounting practices, Tax practices and Financial regulations.
- Demonstrated Experience using Accounting software
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment
- Professional Qualification such as ICAN is a strong advantage.
