Job Description

The Account Executive role focuses on driving new business and expanding existing accounts within a defined territory. This includes selling Jitterbit’s integration, application development, and EDI solutions. The role involves collaboration with internal teams such as Sales Development, Marketing, Partners, Customer Success, and Pre-Sales to build and close pipeline opportunities. Strong outbound prospecting capability is essential, along with the ability to manage complex sales cycles and engage enterprise-level stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect new clients using channels such as cold calling, email outreach, and networking within an assigned territory
  • Conduct detailed needs assessments to understand customer challenges, goals, and technical requirements
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure using CRM tools such as Salesforce
  • Develop and deliver product presentations and demonstrations tailored to client needs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and executive stakeholders
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets, including new business, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of sales strategies and customer onboarding
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to refine sales approach

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of B2B technology sales experience
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales quotas
  • Strong experience in prospecting and building sales pipelines
  • Ability to engage and influence C-level executives and enterprise stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of technology infrastructure and workflow automation solutions
  • Proficiency with sales tools such as Salesforce, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, and ABM platforms
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned region
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent professional experience
