Job Description

J-Six Group is hiring an experienced Accountant with a strong background in the FMCG industry. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional who can manage financial records, oversee inventory reconciliation, support budgeting, and provide accurate financial reports to aid business decisions.

Location: Abraham Adesanya, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: ₦300,000 – ₦400,000 per month

Responsibilities

• Monitor budgets and financial forecasts to support management decision-making.
• Coordinate weekly and monthly stocktaking activities.
• Prepare and reconcile financial records, ledgers, and financial statements.
• Manage cash flow, banking activities, and cash reconciliation.
• Perform stock reconciliation and inventory monitoring.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial estimates and reports.
• Generate monthly profit and loss reports and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting certification such as ICAN, ACCA, ICMA, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in the FMCG or hospitality sector.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of i-Class or other accounting software is an added advantage.
• Excellent understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
