Job Description
A reputable organization is recruiting an experienced and commercially driven Agriculture & Agro-Allied Project Manager to oversee agricultural, agro-processing, and manufacturing projects across Nigeria. The role requires a strategic professional capable of managing project execution, operational efficiency, stakeholder relationships, and business growth initiatives within the agriculture and agro-industrial sector. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of agricultural value chains, manufacturing systems, financial planning, and large-scale project coordination.

Salary: N300,000 – N350,000 per month
Key Responsibilities
Project Development & Execution
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of agriculture and agro-processing projects from feasibility stage to commercial implementation.
- Develop project timelines, operational frameworks, budgets, and risk management strategies.
- Ensure projects are delivered within approved timelines, budgets, and business objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve smooth project implementation.
Manufacturing & Operational Strategy
- Oversee farm-to-processing value chain operations including sourcing, production systems, processing infrastructure, and logistics.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, OEMs, and agribusiness stakeholders to improve operational performance.
- Implement systems and process improvements that increase productivity and profitability.
- Support operational scalability across agricultural and manufacturing projects.
Financial & Commercial Oversight
- Prepare feasibility studies, project financial models, and ROI assessments.
- Monitor capital allocation, operational budgets, and cost management activities.
- Identify funding opportunities, strategic partnerships, and expansion opportunities.
- Support commercially sustainable project development initiatives.
Stakeholder & Compliance Management
- Build strong relationships with investors, suppliers, government agencies, development institutions, and local communities.
- Represent the organization during business negotiations and partnership discussions.
- Ensure compliance with agricultural regulations, environmental standards, and safety policies.
- Maintain accurate project reports, documentation, and executive updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Engineering, Agribusiness, Project Management, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in agriculture, agro-processing, manufacturing, or industrial project management.
- Strong understanding of agricultural value chains and manufacturing operations.
- Proven experience in budgeting, financial modelling, and project analysis.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Asana, or Trello.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification will be an added advantage.
