Job Description

Carbolis Energies is seeking a results-driven Business Development Executive to support business expansion across the energy and industrial sectors. This role is ideal for professionals with strong business development experience in oil and gas, engineering, renewable energy, or industrial services. The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, build strategic client relationships, and contribute to the company’s overall growth.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the oil and gas, renewable energy, power, marine, and industrial sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including international oil companies (IOCs), indigenous operators, EPC contractors, and government agencies.
  • Prepare high-quality business proposals, bids, and tender submissions.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Develop strategies to generate qualified leads and convert prospects into long-term clients.
  • Monitor and report on sales pipelines, business leads, and conversion performance.
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings when required.
Requirements

Interested candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • Between 3 and 7 years of proven experience in Business Development, Sales, or Marketing within the energy, oil and gas, engineering, or industrial services sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of business development processes, proposal preparation, and client relationship management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to conduct market analysis and identify new business opportunities.
  • Must currently reside in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
