Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Job Description
IndexRide is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our entire technical architecture, AWS infrastructure, DevOps pipelines, CI/CD systems, Paystack + Google Maps integrations, and security + scalability of the IndexRide platform.
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end technical architecture of IndexRide and all sub-products
- Build, lead and mentor the engineering team across backend, frontend, and mobile
- Define and execute the DevOps and CI/CD pipeline strategy
- Oversee security, scalability, and reliability across all environments
- Drive Paystack, Google Maps, and third party integrations
- Work directly with the CEO to align technology with product vision
Key Requirements
- 8+ years of engineering experience, 3+ in a senior leadership role
- Deep expertise in AWS, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and React
- Experience building and scaling real-time systems (WebSockets, Redis)
- Track record shipping consumer products at scale
- Strong understanding of payment infrastructure and APIs
