Job Responsibilities
  • Execute the branch commercial sales strategy to achieve business and revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial customers while identifying new business opportunities.
  • Drive customer acquisition by promoting and opening various banking accounts and financial products.
  • Cross sell banking products and services based on customer needs.
  • Conduct client visits to evaluate financial needs and promote relevant banking solutions.
  • Deliver sales presentations to prospective clients and negotiate business opportunities.
  • Analyze customers’ financial statements, cash flow projections, and loan applications.
  • Assess lending risks and ensure compliance with the bank’s credit policies.
  • Maintain complete and accurate customer documentation while adhering to KYC and regulatory requirements.
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly and maintain high service standards.
  • Collaborate with branch teams to improve customer experience and service delivery.
  • Contribute to the growth of deposits, loans, and overdrafts to improve branch profitability.

Job Requirements
  • Minimum of a First Degree in any discipline.
  • Professional certification such as CIBN is required.
  • Between 3 and 8 years of relevant experience in commercial banking, sales, or relationship management.
  • Strong sales, marketing, and business development skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis and credit assessment.
  • Digital proficiency and ability to work with modern banking technologies.
  • Ability to build lasting customer relationships.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
