Job Description
FMN Holdings is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Engineer to join its technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing scalable data infrastructure and pipelines that support reporting, analytics, business intelligence, and artificial intelligence initiatives across the organization. This role requires strong expertise in cloud-based data platforms, data integration, and modern data engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines using Microsoft Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric.
• Integrate data from ERP systems, SQL databases, APIs, and third-party applications into centralized data environments.
• Implement and manage Lakehouse architectures using Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, and Delta technologies.
• Monitor data pipeline performance, identify issues, and resolve failures to ensure reliable data processing.
• Develop and maintain scalable data models to support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence needs.
• Ensure data quality through validation processes, cleansing procedures, and governance controls.
• Apply DevOps best practices, including CI/CD implementation, version control, automated deployments, and code management.
• Collaborate with analysts, technical teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective data solutions.
Requirements
• HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Integration, Data Warehousing, or Data Platform Development.
• Strong expertise in data engineering concepts, data integration processes, and cloud-based data platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, APIs, and data modelling techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex data-related challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
