Moniepoint Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled Data Science Manager to join its Growth team. The role focuses on using advanced data science, machine learning, statistical modelling, and optimisation techniques to drive business growth, improve marketing efficiency, and support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, test, and productionise attribution and predictive algorithms using advanced machine learning and optimisation techniques.
  • Build and manage models covering marketing attribution, CAC/mCAC, LTV prediction, marketing mix modelling, and multichannel attribution.
  • Design experiments, analyse results, and generate detailed, actionable insights to support business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain production marketing attribution models to improve budget allocation and marketing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and business teams to apply data science to strategic business challenges.
  • Apply statistical modelling and advanced analytics to generate insights that influence product and business strategy.

Requirements
  • Minimum of an MSc, preferably a PhD, in Physics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or another relevant scientific discipline.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in quantitative analysis outside academic or internship settings, preferably within leading FMCG or fintech companies.
  • Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of statistical inference, Bayesian statistics, causal inference, time series analysis, and mathematical optimisation.
  • Extensive experience with Multichannel Attribution Modelling and Marketing Mix Modelling.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and statistical programming, with experience using Pandas, SciPy, XGBoost, Jupyter/iPython notebooks, PyMC3, and other modelling tools.
  • Proven experience managing the full predictive and prescriptive model development lifecycle, from problem definition and data modelling through productionisation and maintenance.
  • Strong SQL and data modelling skills, with familiarity with cloud infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and analysing digital product experiments, including A/B and multivariate testing.
  • Experience applying statistical modelling and advanced analytics to generate product-shaping insights.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
