A leading UK digital advertising and marketing company is seeking an experienced Digital Account Director to cover Scotland. The role focuses on managing and growing a portfolio of high-value clients, developing bespoke digital marketing solutions, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth. Candidates must be based within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of high-value clients with annual spending ranging from £8,000 to £70,000.
- Retain, nurture and grow existing customer accounts through high-performing digital marketing solutions.
- Identify new digital advertising opportunities and develop bespoke advertising programmes aligned with client objectives and spending requirements.
- Acquire new high-value customers seeking digital agency-level marketing solutions.
- Work with the Field Sales Manager and Business Development Managers (BDMs) to generate high-quality referral opportunities.
- Support the training and development of BDMs within the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, including Digital Marketing Managers, product and commercial teams, learning and development, marketing and finance.
- Facilitate training and onboarding activities for new and existing team members where required.
- Promote best practices across the sales team and contribute to a high-performance sales culture.
- Stay informed about digital marketing trends, technology, market developments and competitor activity.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience managing high-value digital advertising accounts.
- Demonstrable success in digital sales, including growing existing customer accounts and acquiring high-value new clients.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing campaigns, advertising solutions and related technologies.
- Strategic and commercially minded approach to account management and business development.
- Resilience, discipline, persistence and a strong client-focused mindset.
- Ability to develop and maintain a personal development plan that supports continuous learning and adaptation within the digital marketing industry.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex digital concepts clearly and effectively.
