Engineering Technician
Job Description
Nestlé Nigeria Plc, the Nigerian subsidiary of global food and beverage company Nestlé, is recruiting Engineering Technician for full-time, on-site positions at its manufacturing facilities in Agbara and Sagamu, Ogun State.
Location: Agbara and Sagamu, Ogun State.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating, monitoring, and maintaining Engineering equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
- Executing preventive and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment availability and performance.
- Diagnosing equipment faults and implementing timely repairs to minimize production downtime.
- Conducting routine safety, quality, and asset integrity inspections in line with operational standards.
- Ensuring compliance with Nestlé standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) requirements.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, efficiency, and operational excellence.
- Promoting a safe working environment while safeguarding people, products, assets, and the environment.
Key Requirements
- Ability to work full-time and on-site at the assigned location in Agbara or Sagamu, Ogun State.
- Willingness to work in a factory and manufacturing environment.
- Ability to comply with Nestlé’s standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety requirements and Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) procedures.
- Relevant technical background related to the position being applied for, either Production or Engineering.
