A technology firm is seeking a skilled and reliable Fibre Optics Technician. The Fiber Optic Technician is part of the tech team responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fiber optic network systems within a 20 kilometer OLT coverage radius. The role ensures seamless connectivity and reliable technical services for clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, test, and maintain fiber optic cables and networks
- Perform splicing, termination, and troubleshooting
- Respond to service calls and resolve connectivity issues
- Collaborate with sales and customer support teams
- Conduct regular maintenance checks and upgrades
- Implement system expansions and upgrades
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and technical standards Skills & Attributes
- Strong technical knowledge of OLTs and fiber tools
- Dedicated, detail-oriented, and reliable
- Ensures service reliability and minimal downtime

Key Requirements
- Proven experience as fibre Optics Technician or in similarly telecommunications/network role.
- Good understanding of fibre optic principles, cable types, connectors, and network architecture.
- Ability to read technical drawings and network layouts.
- Good communication , teamwork, and problem- solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet with deadlines.
